Hi guys,

I played "Selma" for my "Diversity in American Education" class last month...not a dry eye in the place. Thanks, Michael. And Siobhan -- you take my breath away in "Let It Come"!

Finally got around to ordering DL&O CD...next time through Dallas/Fort Worth, you guys need to stay with us. We'll set up a house concert, if you like, and add to your fan base on the FW side of DFW. I'll even let you visit your Martin HD-28, MB...If you're nice and bring Mac 18, I'll let you play him.

Thanks for writing, but you left no email so I could respond directly to you. These days I only sing one or two songs in full or partial Irish in our extended gigs, but I'll certainly try to do one next Friday night at the Minstrel.

My father is from Dublin and speaks the language very well, but I never got the true gift for it. Are there a lot of Irish speakers, or fans of Irish song who go to the Minstrel?

It was just a wonderful fluke that I had NPR radio on yesterday- I'm usually at work- but what wonderful timing it was. I don't have a certain 'type' of music I listen to- everything from Bach to AC/DC. If it's good, it's just good- no matter where someone wants to pigeon-hole it. I was so taken by your sound that your music is on my "gotta have it!!" list. Thank you for that feeling and spirit- my music horizon has now been joyfully widened ;-)!!!
